Our talks talk of us
The value of our overall development directly depends on our talk with others and also with our own selves.
The first kind of talk is petty talk. This sort of talk has got nothing valuable related to life. It is more centered on tele-serials, scandals, gossips, costumes, violence etc., which surely unmask our make-up and surely trap us towards deteriorating ditch. It is certainly not a time pass but a time killer. This sort of talk helps to identify people of cheap tastes and mean interests. It is also an easy talk that needs no knowledge on the part of a person who indulges.
The second kind of talk is quiet talk. At times, a few of our friends or relatives stop talking with us. Even when we try to contact, they will avoid us. Finally we decide the reason for their silence which purely reflects our mind and self-evaluation. If we are optimistic, we decide that we must be busy with important works. Suppose we are pessimistic, we decide that they do not talk to us because of their ego, complex, anger and selfishness. This notion does harm to our peace of mind and joy of our daily life.
The third type is humorous talk. This makes us laugh, eases our flow and intensifies our intimacy. It is a superb spice which spreads the fragrance of our enjoyable talk. It reduces our stress and enhances our energy.
The final kind of talk is quality talk. This may be about skills, talents, human values, means to achieve goals, health, diet, exercise, hobbies, plans, plans, progress etc.,This sort of talk not only needs skills but also transparency. As it focuses on facts, sometimes it apprehends us. While we are ready to pass comments on others, we are not bold enough to handle the comments on us. The prime reason for this is lack of introspection. We should evaluate others’ comments on us, correct our errors and ignore unreasonable blames. This positive talk encourages us, spreads positive vibrations around us, maintains unseen divine fragrance in our arena and leads us towards flourishing future.
Being six sensed beings, we should decide what to talk and how to talk. If our thoughts are noble, words will be nobler and deeds will be the noblest.
